Edition of 250 + 40 Artist's Proofs + 5 Printer's Proofs
Image Size: 21 in. X 21 in.
Paper Size: 27 in. X 28 in.
Media: serigraph on Rives BFK 220 gram weight 100% cotton archival paper, rendered in 24 screens of color
This is the FIRST serigraph limited edition licensed by the estate of Janis Joplin and Big Brother & The Holding Company and printed by Master Atelier A. Wood in 1997 in 24 colors on Rives BFK 220 gram weight 100% rag (cotton fibre) archival paper
The 2002 2nd edition can be easily distinguished by the size of the words
"Cheap Thrills" at the top. The 1st (Wildwood) printing has larger lettering. The 2nd printing has the same relative size letters as on the LP cover, but the Columbia Records logo on the top line has been removed, so the letters are moved over, but not enlarged. There is also a difference in the yellow ink in the BALL AND CHAIN panel. In the Wildwood edition, the sun and the sand are different colors, on the French one, there is only one yellow.
