Crumb drew this illustration in 2021 and we very quickly agreed that it would be the next image in line for an etching edition. Since we already published a portrait etching edition of Louie Armstrong in 2012, we decided to entitle this one as Basin Street Blues. The Hahnemuhle white archival paper is 12" x 13." The embossed area is 8" x 7.5." The actual image is about 7" x 7." There are 50 prints in this edition, with 6 artist proofs and 3 printer proofs. Each print is numbered, signed and dated by Crumb.
