Crumb initially drew this portrait of Charley Patton in 2013. But because there is only one known photograph of Charley Patton, Crumb was forced to use the same photograph for a second portrait drawn eight years later in 2021 in exchange for some rare 78 records. We're now releasing this second (and in Crumb's opinion, better) portrait as a 50 print etching edition.
Each print is numbered, signed and dated by Crumb. The paper is a white Hahnemuhle etching paper which measures 13 by 16 inches. The embossed area is 9 by 11 inches. The image is 7 by 9 inches. Release day: Friday, February 16th.
