"This work is based on Garcia's diving experience in Hawaii. The work was done around the time of Feeding in the Light. The underwater creature on the right has almost human-like features." -Roberta Weir
Original was painted using watercolor.
The entire edition of Sea Anemone was printed in 1992 prior to Jerry’s death, but Jerry did not sign all of them at once. Instead he would sign them as they were sold. Therefore a number of prints remained unsigned at the time of his death. The unsigned prints had Jerry’s silk-screened signature added later along with an embossed fish to clearly distinguish them from the pencil-signed versions.
Each print came with a matching numbered certificate of authenticity from The Art Peddler in Bend, Oregon owned by Nora Sage, and prints with a silk-screened signature were marked as such on the COA.
Image size approx. 4" x 6".
Paper size approx. 9 3/4" x 12 1/4".
