POP Caps is a ready framed piece by art duo Static, that was first seen at the 2015 artrepublic Yard Sale in Brighton, England.
'POP Caps' pays homage to Static's 'Luxury Vandals' brand of leather wrapped spray paint, which they created back in 2010 using empty spray cans. 'POP Caps' 2015 sees them making use of another disposable element, often discarded once its purpose has been served, and cleverly creates a mini 3D piece of art at an affordable price. Each piece comes ready to hang in a white box frame and is unique due to composition in terms of colour and arrangement of caps used. This piece is signed on the reverse of the frame.
