About
Static is the creative output of artistic duo Tom and Craig. Their work combines elements of street art and fine art, creating a clean graphic style through the talented application of stencils, spray paint, screen-printing and paint brushes. Work by Static can be found on the streets of London as well as exhibited in galleries across the UK, USA, Japan, and Australia. Tom and Craig have been working together since 2006. They met at art college in the North East of England and then parted ways to pursue degrees in Liverpool and Edinburgh. Reunited, they returned to the North East to form Static and open their first studio (2006). The pair have been printing, painting and pasting their work in-house ever since. They have now moved their studio to East London where they have enough space to work on bigger pieces and have their third member, Millie the Beagle, join them every now and then. Contact
