While Jerry loved to perform and he loved his art - he absolutely hated signing his limited edition prints. His managers could convince him to sign only a few at a time. And even then he made a game out of it - signing with both hands, upside-down or with his eyes closed. Therefore, when Jerry passed away there were many editions that didn't get signed.
When buying a print look for the following: If the print is hand signed in pencil in the lower right hand side it was obviously done during his life time; if there is a signature and the embossed fish symbol - it was printed in his lifetime, not signed by Jerry - but the signature is silk-screened on; and finally anything with the Estate embossed chop of Jerry's hand is an Estate edition with his signature silk-screened on the work or no signature at all.looking for proper title, date, etc...
