Forest Green portfolio cover
"This is a special edition VUES DU SAUVE
For the xmas holidays we had a very small run of this infamous portfolio of drawings Robert did when he first arrived here in our village of Sauve as he was taken back by the beauty of the mid-evil architecture and how shocking it is at first.
There have been about 4 different print runs of these drawings and here is yet another.... For xmas gifts....... 35 were done making this very limited to begin with.
First of all , the portfolio is a forest green and it has an extra print in it.. All of the past one's had eight 9 x 11 inch prints in the portfolio, this one has one extra print, making 9 prints in this set. All of the prints are signed as well as the cover off-set print!
They are all signed in pen & ink by Robert and facsimile dated 1991 the year my sister Aline , Robert and their daughter Sophie arrived here except for this additional print that is dated 2011 when Robert drew it. (Le Chamin du Bagard)"Portfolio of prints Vues de Sauve
