Figured I would do something that reflects my political views on gun ownership. This painting depicts a shooting in crouch position. I did an impressionist type background and finished the piece with a negative space stencil. All and all I think this is one of my best pieces yet. I'll probably put out an edition of this in the near future. The title "Molon Labe" comes from the famed Battle of Thermopylae which was one of the most famous last stands in history. The Persians told the Greeks to give up their weapons. The Greeks replied with Molon Labe (Come and Take Them). Kinda reflects my view on gun rights. The Greeks or any culture for that matter will always exist as long as they fight for their autonomy and not surrender their rights or their dignity.
