About

Kaczorowski, Jason

Pollock EB Shoot 2.jpg

While gaining his BFA from the University of Illinois at Chicago in Photography & Film (plus a minor in art history), Jason began putting that college education to the test by becoming a parking lot artist selling posters, t-shirts & stickers to fund his cross country adventures following the band Phish perform 100+ concerts before his eyes. He later turned his attention to furthering careers of other parking lot poster artists and bringing the genre into recognition with his design firm catering to the music and entertainment industry, Post Art Productions.

He has worked in management for several nationwide galleries devoted to fine art lithography and more specifically, rock poster art. Since appearing in Jim Pollock’s Phirst show with his photography, Jason has since documented Jim through his lens creating such recognizable classics as Boston’s 20th Anniversary and Coventry’s final Phish poster which he donated for inclusion in The Mockingbird Foundations, “The Phish Companion”.

His classic creations from the parking lots can also be seen in the forthcoming book “Phan Art” and his photography has been featured in numerous nationally recognized newspaper, magazine & websites along with being exposed in many fine art gallery showings.

He continues to create art, "works" for an advertising agency in Chicago & moderates various online art communities (see: "works").
