Here are some words from Rick..."anyway when I drew these pics, or should I say when I draw any pics it becomes spiritualy significant. Its like I go into a trance until the entire piece is complete. I don't sleep, eat or do anything but let the pen take control, some times these periods will last 3 or 4 weeks. It's like I am a slave to something greater than myself and whatever it is it has to channel these archetypes through me. It is very taxing on me, my family, friends and anyone else I have dealings with simply because I go into another zone for some time and anything that consists of logic or reason becomes secondary during the term of the creative spurt."
