Tansy Myer is a Los Angeles based artist, illustrator and designer. She was born and raised in Venice, California. Myer studied art at the University of London's Goldsmith's College, ultimately receiving her BFA in 2002 from UCLA. Myer's work has been featured in Teen Vogue Magazine and at the subsequent Rocket Dog Show sponsored by Rocket Dog shoes. In January 2007, Myer had her design work featured at the Massive Territory Design Conference in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and Jakarta (Indonesia). Myer's unveiled works at the October 2007 opening of Wal*Art. Her works have also been featured alongside artists like Shepard Fairey and Banksy at the May 2008 show at Sunset Gallery. Recently, Myer's works were featured at the September 2008 Brad Benedict's Sideshow: NowBrow at Wal*Art Gallery. Myer has received numerous industry awards and recognition for her unique style and innovation. You can also find Myer's work in the art books Pink Attitude: The contemporary Female Creativity by Gingko Press and Great New Characters by Zeixs.
