About
From Lambiek.net - Enzo Magni, who signed with Ingam, was the creator of the sexy heroine 'Pantera Bionda'. Written by Gian Giacomo Dalmasso, the comic first appeared in 1948, and the 'Tarzan'-like heroine faught against Japanese soldiers. Because of the sensual looks of the character, 'Pantera Bionda' was the first Italian comic that had problems with censorship. Therefore, Ingam had to lengthen Pantera's costume at certain places. The series ran until 1950. In the 1960s, Magni worked for Bonelli, where he took over the adventures of the special agent 'Gun Flint' from Franco Bignotti, when the comic was retitled to 'Gun Jim'.''
