This print is inspired by an overlooked film in 2007 called Sunshine directed Danny Boyle. In the film a team of Astronauts are sent to re-ignite the dying sun 50 years into the future. Although it may not look like it at first glance the man in the image is actually looking out the window of a spaceship that is orbiting dangerously close to the sun. The print shows the maximum amount of sunlight (2%) that a human being can tolerate at that proximity. If you haven't seen the film I would recommend Netflix-ing it. Both the photography and the soundtrack are really sensational. Watch it on a big screen TV with the volume up (says the guy with the 30 inch, though I did see in the theater).
And for an unusual twist, three people (chosen at random) who buy the regular edition and two people who buy the velvet edition will receive the full cycle, which includes the regular edition, the velvet, the red and one copy of the print on navy paper that is signed and numbered to 5. After the tubes are packed (but not sealed) five tubes will be pulled at random to include the full cycle.
