David Byrd, at www.davidedwardbyrd.com, provides the following information regarding why 1972 tour information is printed on a 1969 poster.
"I did the Rolling Stones poster for the '69 Tour, but have no info about it being used for the 72 Tour, which already had a poster (Deco car, plane, train as I recall mistily). Perhaps some venue had left-over posters from the 69 Tour and stamped and used it for the 72 show because they did not get the 72 poster --- the Stones ran out of 72 posters, they arrived too late for the show --- who knows? As you know, the original 69 poster had a "snipe box" at the bottom, where each Venue could imprint its date/info, so it could be used today, if it was not imprinted."
