An unpublished drawing of a zombie/skull resting in the grass. I had done a smaller version of this picture in pencil and watercolor on a mat for one of the framed Deadworld paintings. I liked the piece and decided to do a larger one. It reminded me of one of Bernie Wrightson's drawings of a corpse in the grass, and inspired this piece.
The art is 9” x 12” on Bristol board, drawn in India ink with a quill pen. Colored with watercolor.
