This is an original mixed-media acrylic painting on a shallow wooden box. The painting continues on all four edges of the box and measures 12"x 12"x 1.5".
Historically I have only used my own photographs to begin paintings, but this one began with a photograph I found on flickr taken by a woman named, Kitty Dukane. She graciously gave me permission to use her work in this piece. Many thanks to you, Kitty!
