The infamous Rick Griffin and Victor Moscosco collaboration 'Murph Surfing' poster for their joint California Poster and Comix Renaissance show at the Tengeman Fine Arts Gallery on the campus of the University of Cincinnati, January 5 - 27, 1972.
"This was one of Griffin's personal favorite pieces as it was one of the very few posters that he had framed and on the wall of his studio. When someone would notice and ask Rick what it was all about, he would simply reply 'Everything good in life'. 'Everyone agrees that in this one artwork he managed to combine his two favorite things in life- Surfing and'Murphing!"(JF)
