"Pow-Wow A Gathering of Tribes for a Human Be-In"
Bands included The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Charlatans, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Country Joe & the Fish, Charles Lloyd are known to have played, as well as speakers including Allen Ginsberg, Timothy Leary, Robert Baker and Richard Alpert.. Poets Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Gary Snyder, Michael McClure and Lenore Kandel, also activists Jerry Rubin & Dick Gregory.. Many of the speakers are listed on Rick's version of the poster, but not bands. There were a number of different pieces done for this event, including art by Michael Bowen, Stanley Mouse, Amy Magill.
