From DS, "I made this painting as a memento of something that I saw in the mountains outside of Seattle. I woke in a cabin very early one morning and peered out the window. Sleeping under a group of pine trees near the cabin, were three mule deer. I watched for the next twenty minutes as the sleepily rose to meet the day."
