pen, ink, acrylic, spray paint4 color serigraph, edition of 100, 22" x 29" - This piece is about the ugliness of games people play on each other. On the surface one might be aware of being played, the obvious as in "checkers". Underlying there may be something much more involved and uncalled for, a game of "chess". You may be totally unaware that your a pawn (figure is holding a pawn chess piece) of someone else's issue's untill it's game over. Seems harder as time goes on to find someone you can be straight up with and expect the same back. Here's some words of wisdom .... "Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly" - The Dalai Lama.
