"This is an four color copper plate etching that I created this spring at Egress Press in Edinboro, PA. The plates were designed and etched by me, and then it was editioned by the fine folks at Egress. It's a limited edtion of 35. The image is roughly 9 x 12 inches and is printed on heavy weight 100 % cotton rag Hahnemuhle german etch ivory white paper. This is an original intaglio print - it is not an injet, giclee, or offset copy. These are hand printed, and thus color varies slighty from number to number.
The image was loosely inspired by the band the Decemberists, and watching too much of the Ken Burns Cival War documentary." - Diana Sudyka
