A collection of fifteen Norwegian folk and fairy tales selected from the Asbjörnsen and Moe book, "Norske Folkeeventyr," "East of the Sun and West of the Moon" is the English incarnation of these classic stories. Illustrated with 25 full-color plates by Kay Nielsen, along with several monoprint illustrations.
Several US and UK editions exist, the first printings represent the best quality lithographed images while subsequent editions in 1922, 1938 and 1977 utilize either offset-lithograph or another book printing methods.
