From DS, "I used to stay with my aunt in rural Michigan growing up. I would sleep in the bed room that had the incubator for the bobwhite quail my cousin was raising. At night I would fall asleep listening to their tiny peeps. I think that's when my love of birds (and quail) first started. Quail species have some of the most beautiful patterning in their plumage and the little Bobwhite is no exception."
