Rage Against The Machine returned to the stage for the first time in many years in 2007, much to the delight of fans that have been waiting for this moment. Their performance at Coachella in April 2007 was amazing and showed that the band has lost nothing over the years. Though this reunion may be short-lived it will have a big impact on fans.
This design is full of imagery and references to the band. The main image is of a future we'd all hope never happens. Martial law has been declared and the streets are full of Stormtroopers while in the background a few rebels try to fight the corrupt powers that keep them down and have removed their freedoms. Once you get this poster look very close at the details, you'll find a lot to talk about in this print. There are even a couple very famous quotes along the sides. The rest of the lettering is in MacRae's rune language and the buyer will receive an alphabet key to decrypt the lettering.
Ulysses trademark style utilizes a huge amount of detail to convey the feeling in his art. The border, designed by MacRae took the theme of the central image and played with the concept of alien language and imagery. The result is a cryptic border design full of complex lettering that MacRae has dubbed "Tribalyptic".
