"Original 1919 lithograph supporting the Victory Liberty Loan, the final bond initiative of the First World War. Artist is Howard Chandler Christy, one of the most famous illustrators of the period known for his advertisements and magazine covers featuring beautiful women. This poster celebrates American national unity and the solidarity of different ethnicities, or "hyphenated Americans", as they were sometimes called, in support of the war effort.
