The name of Mt.St.Helens' album is "You are a ghostly presence." That is what spurred the image of the figure comes from and using a silhouette / shadow for the legs. The songs have a sort of disjointed, choppy feel at times. Sort of angular stuff, ya know? And well, that's where the broken pattern, broken body comes in...as well as the knives. But honestly, I think we just thought the idea of knives for arms was fantastic.
