This was the first print ever released by Mirage Editions, Inc. and the first print created in Nagel's lifetime. It includes an embossment of the flamingo in the white border. In the tradition of the great steamship posters of the 20's and 30's, Nagel's version of the famous A.M. Cassandre's poster of "L'Atlantique." This poster became the first of the limited edition posters printed by Mirage Gallery. Editions were: 800 signed in screen, 200 hand-signed and numbered, and four signed double set (uncut "ganged up" print from silkscreening process) signed by Nagel and held by the printers.
