"the rain drips through the ceiling, a tiny empire grows".
This is a benefit print to help raise money for the physical space that is tiny media empire. Illustrated by Justin Myer Staller and Daniel Danger, this print shows the exterior of the building in which our new open print studio is located.
This is a project started in August of 06 by Daniel Danger, Justin Staller, and Linda Price with the intention of creating a space to house our newly acquired Heidelberg KOR offset press, as well as to provide open studio access to local artists who do not have the equipment or means to do printmaking, or simply wish to learn. Thousands of dollars and several large holes in our walls later, we have a functioning silkscreen studio and a working offset press, as well as a partially functioning Nintendo. The money raised from this print will be going towards the increasing costs of renters insurance, the purchase of a large format digital printer for making transparencies and digital prints, building supplies for new tables and shelving, and many other upstart items required for the shop.
