Everett employed the familiar elements of sea turtles and sunflowers in this detailed composition. Reminiscent of his 1995 poster artwork for Grateful Dead, this artwork combines imagery from both posters with a mysterious background in an unusual landscape format layout. The artist occasionally revisits the sea turtle image, but has not done so in some time and never in such detail for an 8" x 10" artwork. In addition to the turtles, subtle "Steal Your Face" icons as well as lionfish are repeated in the composition. Signed in white colored pencil, "2004 M.Everett".
