This Poster Marks Allens First piece of art after the Hurricane Katrina Aftermath that stuck New Orleans and destroyed his printed shot and damage his home., this poster is a continuation of the Skywald horror - mood comic theme. Poster is made to look like a back cover add depicting the stories that would be inside. The previous poster with this same theme was on his rob zombie / mastadon poster.
The poster illustrates a story Of Glenn Danzig shapeshifting into a werewolf. a tale of the cursed illustrated in style of the great 70's horror comics. Allen felt it right to illustrate glenn this way because his (as allen says) is a comicbook and this is what he likes and allen likes. The common ground here between allen and glenn's history made this a really fun project and time away from worries of past katrina happenings.
Glenn danzig over the years has left an inspiration mark in music, art and people. Allen's first punk record was Evil live and it had a aggressive sound along with sci fi horror themes that allen related to.One of allens favorite musicians for sure and is very happy with what was created.
This Tour Also marked glenns farewell tour, but not over. Glenn will continue producing Excellent comics through his comicbook company verotik and in the near future plans to do some work in film. This tour danzig was supportinghis release " circle of snakes" and also this tour marked the first REAL misfits reunion wit h danzig on vocals since the break up in 1983. Original Misfits guitarist Doyle(GOREOUS FRANKENSTEIN ) and danzig and band brought back the sound. it was awesome. The Show opened with "skincaver" and followed by other bone crushing tracks. Of course there is always an ass in the audience who is a paying fan that wants to start shit. People like this can not be unstood , they pay to get in and do not want a show. they get pointed out, fucked with, then get beat up by the fans and get carried out., the show was awesome until these people made it a problem.
