"An experiment in 'memory portraiture'. Look at yourself in a mirror. Study dominant features. Anchor your painting with these, and fill in the rest AS YOU FEEL. This began as a self-portrait, but as I was painting it, a guy on TV caught my eye. He was some suspected terror suspect, and immediately I switched gears and began painting HIM. Weird."
