"Just a free-form drawing exercise. I wanted to depict the bears as slaves to very unhealthy vices. The sign in the bears hand on the right eventually ended up reading, 'Juliana, Marry Me...' On the night of the show, I stopped by the venue to pick up cash for doing this job, and I ran into Juliana about an hour before her set. She cornered me in the stairwell, and with a very serious face, wanted to know what the poster 'meant'. I wish I couldve told her something fabulous, but I couldn't. It's pretty meaningless..." -JR
