"This artwork was for an event at The Aerial Theater...one of those shows where they pack a couple thosand people into an arena and then put on an amazing laser and pyro show to the music of PINK FLOYD. When I found out that the music was primarily going to be taken from THE WALL, I got to work. Those characters from the album sleeve of THE WALL used to freak me out when I was a kid. I remember the commercials that used to come on late Sat. nights during Saturday Night Live to promote the album: those characters looming over the little faceless 'hero'(?). There really was no question about what I'd do for this job when I got it." -JR
