This is a poster for the first night of NIN's 2 night engagement at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe, AZ. Todd Slater did the poster for the second night. It measures 18 X 24 and is printed at full bleed (that is to say, the image goes all the way to the edge with no border). Somehow this makes it look bigger.
I chose metallic inks for the hand and blood (silver and a ruddy copper respectively). The paper used is a grey speckletone with a slight tinge of blue.
The printing was done by D&L printing, and they did a hell of a job. The black ink on this is incredibly thick and opaque. How much blacker could it get? The answer is "None, none more black."
