"Big and metallic - It's 23" x 35" - and I did the four color process in straight flourescents with a thinned gun-metal metallic for black.
I planned out the four color process for weeks before printing. And printed them out of order and in different ink intensities than if I printed straight - cyan, magenta, process yellow - thinning the inks to match a Florescent color pallet of cmyk.
I blew up (no pun intended) a very small 1.5" x 2" image from a Deptment of Energy document from the 1960's.
The films were insanely expensive ($600) but the end result was worth it."
