"This started out as an homage to the Doc Savage pulp covers of the 1940s (by the great Walter Baumhoffer), but the influence of Indy’s contemporary movie poster magicians crept in. I couldn’t help but be inspired by the work of Richard Amsel and Drew Struzan (hands-down THE definitive Indiana Jones artist), though I’m nowhere near their league. And a little bit of Bob Peak also made its way in here, don’t ya think?"
