Last year on Thanksgiving I found myself scrolling through the most watched movies on iTunes and was heartened to see Planes, Trains and Automobiles as the most popular along with a number of other John Candy movies. I chose to watch Uncle Buck and decided midway through that I would begin my own illustration of JC. And one year later on Black Friday here we are! For me, I associate warmth and humor along with a strong feeling of optimism around JC. And I think we could all use some of that this time of year. Whether you're gifting these or displaying in your own homes I hope this art brings you some cheer this holiday season.

The entire edition is printed on the SwissQ printer. If you haven't heard of it might be because there are only 2 in the continental US. The SwissQ gave me the heavy spot varnish I was looking for, giving the art an almost sculptural quality. The colors are saturated and rich allowing for many interesting textures and points of interest. The art is absolutely stunning in person
