“A parliament of owls at sundown and at sunup. This piece is about shaping negative space with a focus on composition, contrast, form and color.
It’s a print that I hope defines my style through a culmination of experimenting with breaking up colors and shapes visually while eliminating the black line that is so prevalent in much of my work. The goal was to create a piece that is dark but still manages to feel very bright at the same time.”
