====================
Summer passes like the wind, especially here on this collection of islands off the coast of Europe. This is a drawing of a path that I walked, over the chalk hills east of a town called Winchester. This was back at the beginning of summer, when the elder trees were in bloom and it seemed that every flower was a white one. It was the middle of the year, I suppose, the pivot from the days lengthening to the night starting to reclaim the hours. This picture is called 'Midlight', which I don't think is a real word yet.
Are you a person interested in the tools used to make artwork, or simply a fan of pencils? You are? Brilliant, you're going to love the next bit... Just as was the case with my previous print release with The Lost Domain, this picture was drawn with German 8B pencils made by Faber Castell and Swiss water-soluble 'Aquarelle' pencils made by Caran D'Ache. I have still not been to the Pencil Museum in England's Lake District.
This print is available only via The Lost Domain; the edition is a timed release that will be available to order on September 12th from 18:00 UTC/GMT+1 for the following 48 hours.
