As many of you know I have teamed up with the @gratefuldead to create and release a collection of officially licensed prints called “Milestones”... in this series I create limited-edition screen-printed posters inspired by milestone events spanning the career of the Grateful Dead.
The Tenth and FINAL release of this Milestones series is inspired by an incredible run of shows at Madison Square Garden: September 15-16, 18-20, 1987 in New York City.
These shows mark the Grateful Dead at the highest point of their popularity after a long career without what most would consider being a “commercial” success. Their recent album release In the Dark went Double Platinum and the single “Touch of Grey” would end up being a Top 40 single on the Billboard Hot 100, their biggest hit to date. During this run, Jerry and Bobby appeared on Late Night with David Letterman on their night off. The shows, being special in their own way, featured blistering versions of “Goin’ Down the Road Feeling Bad”, “Morning Dew”, “Candyman” and an extremely rare cover of “La Bamba”. In fact, the band played the hit song “Touch of Grey” twice during this run... a rare instance for the Dead.
This special limited-edition print will be available for purchase ONLY on statusserigraph.com starting Wednesday, August 21 at 10am eastern and will run through Sunday August 25th at 11:59pm pacific.
This will be a timed-release, meaning we will take orders during the release period and once it’s over we will print however many have been ordered. Once the sale is over, NO MORE copies will be printed... so make sure to grab one while you have the chance!
All of the prints will be signed and numbered by me, the artist and will be available in a regular ($55) or holographic ($85) foil version.
This is a PREORDER so please allow us a few weeks to get them to your door. That being said, printing will begin Monday after the sale has concluded and we hope to start shipping shortly after.
