Manolis Zontanos: "I couldn't believe how raw and real they (Pearl Jam) were so I stopped this random dude, that was at the show, and said 'Hey dude, who is this band?' and the guy goes 'Pearl Jam', and I remember going on I am not gonna forget that fucking name! At the end of their set, Eddie Vedder took off his Red Hot Chili Peppers boxer shorts, that he was wearing through the show, and threw it out at the audience as he was completely naked... said goodbye and left! I definitely couldn't believe how strong they were for an opening act".
