Hello my Friends,
This Thursday I'll be releasing two more of my Beinart Gallery pieces as full color screen prints.
We're working with the VGKids in Ypsilanti, Michigan. They do beautiful work, so I'm very excited to bring these to you.
"The Send Off" is a 9 color screen print with a line art variant. When I began work on the Beinart show, I wanted to create "Portals" to other worlds. Here I imagined the Mayor of a small town getting ready to fly off to advocate for representation at a higher level of government for a matter of local significance.
He is expecting a great fanfare to give him a grand "Send Off" but the only people who show up are his office workers. Undaunted he gets ready to fly off to petition the great overlord for aid on behalf of his ungrateful constituents.
