£40"I made this drawing as a reflection on what it feels like to be one single person in a near endless sea of humanity. Those alive with us today, the ever growing number of those dearly departed and the uncountable masses yet to come. The drawing also touches on the subtle egocentrism that comes from being the main character in our own lives. It is hard to really see ourselves in perspective when we have such intimate access to our own inner world and story and such fleeting glimpses into even those closest to us. You could imagine a parallel picture for every possible face and identity, all coexisting in image space for each of us, another face in the vast cavern of humanity." - Miles Johnston
