“The toucan is the Keel-bill Toucan, a native of Mexico. The round perch is Ouroboros, a circular symbol depicting a snake/dragon, swallowing its tail, as an emblem of wholeness or infinity. Fused with Quetzalcoatl, the Feathered-Serpent deity of ancient Mesoamerican culture. And finally, the patterns on the left and right side are inspired by Talavera, a traditional Mexican style of pottery and design.“ -Ben Kwok
