"This drawing I made after finishing reading the story of comanche chief Quanah Parker. At a young age, during a vision quest, Quanah had a vision of a bear, which according to their belief, brought him a strong medicine. The term medecine for Native Americans is used to describe where each one source of power comes from. For Quanah it was the Bear medicine. That power brought him lot of strenght and success in battle and in life."
