Hello again. Here's a new print that I've called 'Evenfall'. Evenfall means, unsurprisingly, the beginning of evening. It's a simple enough word with a simple enough meaning, but currently it feels heavy with ambiguity, weighted with vague metaphor. As if we are gazing, helplessly, toward a darkening and uncertain future. Or perhaps it's just a lovely sunset! Hey ho.
And, if you're interested in materials and tools, the picture was made with very thin-nibbed pens, coloured pencils that make marks which are are soluble in water, a new type of pen that has a really teeny brush instead of a nib, and 65gsm tracing paper. Very handy for creating the illusion of misty distance.
This print is available only via The Lost Domain; the edition is a timed release that will be available to order on October 13th from 18:00 GMT+1 for the following 48 hours.
