2022 is the 10th anniversary of the 'Cages' series, it has evolved a lot since the beginning and I promised earlier this year that I would be releasing prints of older works. This image has always been one of my favorites. ‘’La Cage et l’union des Forces’’(Joining Forces) was exhibited at my first solo exhibition in Europe in November 2013 in Stavanger Norway at Reeds Projects Gallery and shortly after in April 2014 was used in the project M2 curated by Yasha Young on the windows of the Urban Nation museum in Berlin which was under construction at the time. In the spring I hand finished 10 prints and knew I wanted to do an official launch with one of these, so after asking which one you liked best, it was obvious there was not one winner but that you loved them all. So, I decided to do a special launch.
Ten variants of ‘'La Cage et l’Union of Forces'' will be available for you to add one to your collection in an edition of only 25 for each of them and, since I want to emphasize that I am deeply grateful for your support, whether you are a new collector or have been around since the beginning; for each of the ten editions a collector will randomly receive the hand-enhanced version edition 1/1 of the print they have chosen!
