"I've been dipping my toe into trippy/surreal concepts and visual narratives, but this was a full dive, and I'm so happy that I took the leap. The concept was an attempt to visualize a head high while laying in the woods and listening to music - really taking it all in and feeling how small you actually are compared to the natural world, which helps you realize how much there is left to discover out in the world. If you look closely, the miniature figure in the boat is actually the same as the larger figure laying in the grass.
The tattoos are all references to past DMB Tahoe posters, some songs of theirs, and some of my other recent work - so I got to really enjoy diving into the details of this.
