"This portrait was part of my 2021 show at the Couse Sharp historical site in taos. I painted from reference photos that were taken in the early 1900 by Irvine Couse himself. Antonio was a Pueblo native who was portraited by many of the Taos masters at that time. It was an honor to be able to paint him 100 years later."
